A glimpse inside my ordinary life

I’m starting to find that photographers can be a competitive breed.  Everyone wants to get that unusual shot taken from an obscure angle.  Breathtaking…moving….spiritual.

Ummm…it’s just a picture.  Maybe it’s because I’m not working at that level and I just don’t get it.

As an amateur photographer, I want document my experiences and capture ordinary moments that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.

So here are a few pictures – nothing breathtaking – that will remind me of the everyday in years to come.

Splish Splash – she ended up needing a bath

Today was sunny, snowy and raining.  And that was just between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

The best part was the accumulation of rain/snow that left some splashable puddles for my little one.

I used my ‘nifty fifty’ prime lens, set in AV mode with f/1.8 aperture.

She really did need a bath afterward.
